How do I know if I live adjacent to wetlands?

Some wetlands aren’t obvious to the untrained eye. We have online tools we use to determine if wetlands are on or near a property. We are also certified to delineate wetlands. We can visit a site to determine the location of the wetlands.

I live on a waterbody/wetlands. Now what?

The first step is to have the wetland line delineated. We are certified to delineate wetlands. We will visit the site and set out flags or stakes along the wetland line. Once the line has been marked out, we’ll coordinate with your surveyor who will plot the location onto your survey. Once you know where the wetlands are, we can help you determine which jurisdictions your project falls under.

Why do I need wetlands delineated?

Many environmental agencies have jurisdiction over the water as well as a specified number of feet landward of the wetlands line. Determining where the wetland line help determine which agencies have jurisdiction over the proposed project.
